What Is USABO?
The US Biology Olympiad (USABO) has two stages: Open Exam — 50 MCQ, 50 minutes (top ~10% advance); Semifinal Exam — 120 MCQ, 120 minutes (top ~20 invited to National Finals). National Finals — lab and short answer; 4 students selected for IBO.
- Who is it for?
- High school biology students aiming for USABO national finals and IBO selection. Should have completed AP Biology or equivalent and be ready for university-level biology content.
- How is it taught?
- Live 1-to-1 online classes with a verified Biology mentor. Your first session is a free trial that maps your level, then classes follow a personal plan. From $18/hour.
