Which Physics Olympiad should my child start with?

Younger students (Y9–10) start with BPhO Junior, F=ma foundations or SASMO-Science; senior students (Y11–13) enter BPhO Round 1, USAPhO/F=ma, NSEP or CAP. Our free diagnostic places your child on the correct rung.

How much mechanics and calculus is needed?

F=ma and BPhO Junior only need Newtonian mechanics + light algebra. BPhO Round 2, USAPhO and INPhO expect calculus fluency plus electromagnetism, thermodynamics and modern physics.

Do you coach experimental / practical rounds?

Yes. IPhO team-selection camps (OCSC, USPhT) test 5-hour experimental papers. Our mentors run live experiment sessions and error-analysis coaching.

Can international students take BPhO or USAPhO?

BPhO accepts international entries via school registration. F=ma / USAPhO require sitting in the US (or a US-partnered school abroad); many international schools qualify.

How long does IPhO prep take?

Entry rounds (BPhO Jr, F=ma) — 3–6 months. National finals (BPhO R2, USAPhO, INPhO) — 12–24 months of structured training.
