What Is APhO?
The Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) is a regional competition for Asian and Pacific countries, typically held in April/May. It is a gateway to IPhO selection for many countries and follows a similar format to IPhO: theory problems + experimental tasks.

- Students selected for or aiming for their country's APhO team. Ideal for students who have excelled at national physics olympiads and are preparing for the regional competition as a stepping stone to IPhO.
- How is it taught?
