IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches Higher Level is a 240-hour two-year course considered one of the most demanding subjects in the entire IB Diploma. HL students cover all SL content plus rigorous extensions in proof, complex numbers, vectors, series, and multivariable calculus. Assessment includes Paper 1 (no calculator), Paper 2 (with GDC), Paper 3 (extended problem-solving), and the Mathematical Exploration.
