The US Biology Olympiad (USABO) has two stages: Open Exam — 50 MCQ, 50 minutes (top ~10% advance); Semifinal Exam — 120 MCQ, 120 minutes (top ~20 invited to National Finals). National Finals — lab and short answer; 4 students selected for IBO.
