The Junior Mathematical Challenge is a 60-minute paper of 25 multiple-choice questions. We prepare students to that exact format, working through official past papers under timed conditions.

Who can sit the Junior Mathematical Challenge?

It is open to students in Year 8 and below (Year S2 and below in Scotland, Year 9 and below in Northern Ireland). Entry is arranged through the student's school, which registers candidates with the UK Mathematics Trust.

What comes after the Junior Mathematical Challenge?

Top scorers are invited to the Junior Mathematical Olympiad (JMO) or the Junior Mathematical Kangaroo.
