What Is IB Economics?
IB Economics is a two-year DP course built around four units — introduction to economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics and the global economy. Students are assessed through Paper 1 (extended response), Paper 2 (data response), and HL Paper 3 (policy paper), plus a Portfolio of three commentaries worth 20%. The course rewards diagram precision, real-world application of theory, and structured evaluation.
