What Is IB CS?
IB Computer Science is a two-year DP course covering system fundamentals, computer organization, networks, computational thinking and (at HL) abstract data structures, resource management and control. SL students sit Papers 1 and 2; HL students also sit Paper 3 on the annual case study. The Internal Assessment is a fully developed software product worth 30% (SL) / 30% (HL). Java is the assumed language, but pseudocode and concepts dominate the exams.
