The AMC 10 is the entry point to the USA olympiad ladder. Working through past papers under timed conditions is the single highest-return preparation activity: the question archetypes repeat year after year, and roughly the first 15 questions of every paper are pure speed and accuracy on familiar patterns. Use the archive below to build that pattern library, then work the last 10 questions slowly with full written solutions.

Frequently asked questions
- How many AMC 10 past papers should I do?
- Aim for 10–15 full timed papers across the season, spread over both the A and B versions. Quality of review matters more than volume: for every paper you sit, spend twice as long rewriting full solutions to the questions you missed.
- Where can I download official AMC 10 past papers?
- Official problems and answer keys are published by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and mirrored on the AoPS wiki. We link to the official source rather than re-hosting copyrighted papers, and provide our own worked solutions and topic tagging alongside.
- What is a good AMC 10 score?
- A score above 100 is strong for a first attempt; AIME qualification usually lands between 100 and 110 depending on the year and paper. Consistently clearing the first 15 questions with no errors puts you at 90 before you touch the hard half.
